Job Description:About the Job As the Sr. Manager, Banaglare, you will direct the team responsible for providing all office and facilities management support for over 1, 500 Akamai Bangalore employees. This position will report to the Global Director of Facilities Operation, and will have a close working relationship with the India Management Team. About the Team The Akamai GREWP team provides global facilities, real estate, construction project management, and physical security services. The team consists of high- caliber professionals all focused on providing superior customer service to our fellow employees in 70 offices throughout the world. Responsibilities * Direct the GREWP team responsible for managing employee transportation, HVAC, electrical, janitorial, food services, physical security, and other facilities related services. * Coordinate budgets, policies and office standards with the support and guidance of Akamai s US corporate headquarters GREWP management team. * Develop, negotiate and maintain suppliers/ vendors relationships for services and purchases such as cafeteria coffee/ beverage services, transportation, office equipment and supplies, building systems maintenance agreements, etc. * Provide support to GREWP project management team on Bangalore construction projects. * Oversee office moves and assist in maintaining Akamai s CAFM system database to allow for more accurate capacity vs. head count reporting and planning * Assist in developing and managing the department opex budget and track performance against budget. Report back on variances to the corporate finance department in Cambridge * Additional duties including miscellaneous small projects as assigned. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience * 10 years of experience * 5 years experience as a manager for a mid- large sized company. * Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
