Job Description:Job Role: & amp nbsp 1.Frame Selection Be familiar with all of the optical frame ranges we carry and be able to explain the different features and benefits, as well as the brand values. At all times, the Client should be offered the premium product in both frames and lenses. 2.Lens Selection The Sales Assistant must fully understand the design, function and features of the current lenses offered by the Store. Taking the recommendations from the Optometrists exam on modality of lens, the Sales Assistant must be able to recommend the right product for the right customers visual needs. 3.Greeting Clients All Clients will be greeted warmly and enthusiastically when they enter the Store. Wherever possible the Clients name should be used in interactions. 4.Answering Telephone Calls The telephone should be answered as quickly as possible by any staff member available. You should speak clearly and concisely to assess the needs of the caller, answer the query and be able to solve minor problems, or refer the problem on to the Store Manager if appropriate. 5.Gathering Client Data All Clients, new and returning, shall be requested by you to complete the Welcome to the Store Form. This information is critical in ensuring we are able to fully service and communicate with our Clients regularly. 6.Completing Orders Orders shall be completed immediately, and contain all of the information required to ensure the accuracy of the job. In particular, you are to double check the Optometrists prescription against the job order to ensure accuracy. 7.Store & amp amp Frame Cleanliness To ensure that the all areas of the Store, Frame Displays, Frames and Sunglasses are clean, dust free and tidy. 8.Product Position Frame brands should be placed together by brand and under the appropriate signage, for example all Gucci frames should be positioned together. This will ensure a cohesive display in the store. 9.Displays, posters and point of sale It is important that all displays, posters and point of sale material is in good condition and not out of date. You will remove any damaged materials and replace with current images. 10.Promotions You will support and endorse Store Promotions that are conducted from time to time for specific products. You must remain aware of which Store Promotions are currently active and ensure that the point of sale material matches the current promotion.
