Job Description:Purpose of the Job Role Lead and develop the sales team to consistently deliver agreed targets and services. Ensure customer satisfaction and product availability to penetrate potential market. Ensure optimized performance of the sales team through motivation and bonding. Key Accountabilities Develop a motivated, committed and high performing sales team to achieve sales plan. Encourage and promote all opportunities to enable the team to drive sales, leading by example. Ensure growth across General Trade, Chemists Modern Trade channels through proper planning, execution, tracking review of all channel specific programs. Understand local customer needs and ensure this is delivered through both product and service Be familiar with local competition and respond accordingly in order to create competitive advantage To enable effective performance coaching to drive sustainable results. Monitor timely stock availability/ deliveries to retailers and distributors. Ensure payment collections to avoid bad debts from distribution channel Modern Trade partners. Collate Daily/Monthly/Quarterly reports to analyze and plan relevant action Plans. Focus on weak territories in Area help it improve through promotional and booster marketing activity plan. To ensure acquisition of new distribution channel, Retail/Modern Trade partners in assigned area. Timely visit all territories of the area to analyze product performance market trends, pricing and competitors strategies. To bridge customer feedback to enable better and result oriented R D activities/ Plan. Key Measurable Achievement of Various Targets for self and team, i.e Sales, Line Items, No. of visits per day, etc. Payment Receivables Distribution channel, Chemists Modern Trade partners management and Empanelment. Team Productivity and Discipline. Team Attrition Key Relationships/ Stakeholders Chemists, Shopkeepers Modern Trade partners Distributor Marketing Executive Regional Sales Manager Dispatch Manager R D Manager Regional HR Eligibility criteria Graduate A very strong regional language and understanding of English language is must. Must have 4 to 8 years of FMCG OTC background.
