Job Description:Amazon is seeking an experienced candidate for a Global role in Finance Operations to set up and lead a global workforce Management team for our Worldwide Finance Operations organization. The individual will also be charged with managing people and global stakeholders.< br> < br> This is a key senior level position, with a very high visibility within the organization and will require the candidate to team with Amazon Finance Operations, Payroll and other FinOps leaders to review E2E business process, forecast volumes and headcount needs for close to 180 different services to deliver world class service performance.< br> < br> This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual who can start from scratch , build models to solve business problems and have the skill and backbone to convey right message to management, who can assist in the strategic allocation of resources around the globe.< br> < br> Responsibilities:< br> < br> - Develop and improve forecasting models using data collection, data analysis and statistical tools< br> < br> - Create optimal capacity plan for Finance Operations business by managing trade- offs between Customer Experience and Cost Effectiveness.< br> < br> - Coordinate with Operations and Finance teams to analyze historical data and demand forecasts and build out headcount planning models for future growth.< br> < br> - Mitigate capacity risks by managing dependencies across multiple operational teams and sites< br> < br> - Capacity planning for new business/ sites< br> < br> - Clearly communicate dependencies and manage/ track exceptions with Senior Management.< br> < br> - Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of capacity performance in each site via Key Performance Indicators.< br> < br> - Support local site management and workflow teams to optimize staffing requirements.< br> < br> - Project management skills are required for success in this role.< br> < br> Leadership and Management:< br> < br> Participate in recruiting efforts. Continually raises the bar.< br> < br> Execute vision and goals for the team or the department.< br> < br> Guide recruitment, retention, staff training and performance reviews.< br> < br> Build relationships: Make and keep commitments, seek opportunities to partner with customers, be optimistic, and anticipate needs.< br> < br> Ensure the department is well planned: Define opportunities, communicate vision and goals in a way everyone understands, know what most important and set priorities is, ask for commitment, follow up on progress being made, promote accountability.< br> < br> Protect our brand: Know and live the values, ensure team members are living the values< br> < br> Work on critical projects that serve major parts of the business.< br> < br> Serve as Team lead for medium and large scale projects.< br> < br> Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required.< br> < br> Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives< br> < br> Provide high level support to business partners. Compile and present materials to senior management.
